Blurburger featured in online mag

I’ve been featured in Speckyboy Design Magazine. It’s a great resource for designers of all types. They graciously showcased 25 of my wallpapers. Thanks Speckyboy. Check out the feature here.

A reworking…

I’ve reworked my old desktop wallpaper ‘Wave’. (Old one here). All fresh and crisp it is. I might do this with a few of my old desktop pics, so if you have a favorite you would like to see with a fresh coat of paint let me know.

Glumpy Desktop Wallpaper

This wallpaper is called ‘Glumpy’ for no reason other than it kinda suits the guy. I tried not to clutter up the pic. KISS and all that. Get it at the Desktops page

Illustration Friday – ‘Poise’

I haven’t done an Illustration Friday for a while, but I couldn’t pass up ‘Poise’. Here’s an inky-vector-japanesey-cubist version of my cat Mysti. Click the pic for a larger version.

Playground Desktop Wallpaper

About time for another desktop wallpaper huh? Here’s a couple of guys having fun at a playground. Simple, clean and green. Not me. The wallpaper.

New toon – Stain

A new little Lines, Joined & Otherwise toon for you. This is called ‘Stain’. Check it out.

Tihn Toun

OK. Here it is. My new little project – you know, the kind one does to stay sane while all the other things are going on. It’s called Tihn Toun, which stands for ‘Things I Had Not Thought Of Until Now’. Geez I’m clever. Like I say on the site, it’s basically just random thoughts, but illustrated. Check it out.

Update & Fires

Sorry for the lack of new stuff here on Blurburger. I’ve been quite busy with work. But I hope to have something new here soon. I’ve also been playing around with a new little side project, which I’ll let you know about in the next few days.

For all those wondering whether I was affected by the bush fires here in Victoria – well my family and I are fine. The fires have been close but the worst fires were a few days ago and 30 to 40 km away. Thanks for all the good wishes.

Two new toons

Over in Lines, Joined & Otherwise you’ll find two new cartoons. ‘Bounce’ is based on the many similar conversations I’ve had with my own kids. ‘Talent’ was inspired by a phrase I got from the Oblique Strategies: ‘Don’t be afraid to display your talents”. Check ‘em out.
